Phosphating solution is used in many workpieces processing. This phosphating solution is generally composed of slotting agent, phosphating supplement, phosphating adjusting agent and phosphating promoter. The slotting agent and supplement are the main components. The slotting agent is used for the first time, and the supplement is used after the groove is built. Phosphating regulator is used to adjust the total acid and free acid quantity of phosphating solution to achieve the appropriate acid ratio; phosphating promoter is an oxidant, which plays a polarization role to promote the reaction.

Phosphating solution is mainly used for corrosion protection of steel parts. The phosphating film can be zinc and manganese. After phosphating, it can be coated with rust proof oil, antirust paper and anti rust wax. Phosphating solution can increase adhesion and protection of the film to steel work pieces before applying paint. In addition, phosphating solution can be used in cold machining lubrication and grinding reduction operations, as well as in the role of electrical insulation.

The effect of oil removal can be achieved by electrolysis of phosphating solution. The direct current is connected on the basic oil removal crossover. The workpiece can be removed in a short time as cathode or anode. When the oil is removed by electrolysis, the oil can be saponified and emulsified by alkali washing, but also the interfacial tension between the metal surface and the solution can be reduced due to the polarization of the electrode surface. The oil film is torn rapidly by means of a large number of bubbles generated on the electrode, which makes the oil oil become a small oil bead and is removed. At the same time, the bubbles leached from the metal surface can play a strong mechanical stirring role on the solution, so the oil removal effect can be further accelerated.
