Phosphate-free coating agent (YX-898#)
Suitable for intermediate-line treatment of high-carbon steel, steel strands, and steel wire ropes; also applicable to the semi-finished product line treatment of cold-heading steel. It replaces phosphating and soap-based treatments, significantly reducing process costs. It produces no exhaust gases or solid waste, and wastewater treatment is straightforward. Control is simple—only requiring periodic replenishment and regular monitoring of sugar content, temperature, and pH. Consumption is low, with consumption figures ranging from 0.35 to 0.42 kg per ton.

Scope of use:

How to use:
- Heat the water to 80-90°C, then add the phosphate-free coating agent YX-898#.
- Control the sugar content of the plating bath at 13-17 (the allowable range varies depending on the application);
- Maintain the heating working temperature and stir regularly or continuously.
